IJ-8 Rotary Encoder Decoder with switch
Description
Rotary encoders are extremely useful for user interfaces. However, the raw quadrature and switch outputs from a mechanical encoder often need to be debounced and converted into step & direction signals before use. Although this conversion could be incorporated into the user's main code, it is often much more convenient to have a standalone unit which provides ready-to-use signals.
The IJ-8 decoder module performs all required decoding/debouncing using the on-board microcontroller and provides simple logic-level step, direction and switch outputs in a compact footprint.
